About
Niall Stuart established Stuart Consulting in May 2026 and has been providing bespoke advice and support to businesses in the UK energy sector since 2017 on both policy and regulatory change and engaging with government.
He brings extensive experience of engaging with government, regulators and industry bodies, and successfully supporting and representing clients on the issues which will determine the future of their businesses.
Niall was previously Chief Executive of industry body Scottish Renewables, leading the organisation’s work on issues such as renewable energy targets, transmission charges, and Electricity Market Reform. During that time Niall was a member of the First Minister’s Energy Advisory Board and co-chaired the Scottish Government’s Renewable Industry Advisory Board.
